Policing in the UK

I'm 65 years old, so I grew up in the days when the police could act as they liked with impunity, but I've never had a problem with them in all that time.

I've had interactions with them over the years. It's imposible to live a normal life without that happening, but I'm not a criminal and I remember the days as a young child when we were told to find a police officer if we were lost or scared, so I've never seen them as an enemy.

There probably aren't enough of them these days for them to carry out their duties as they would wish, but I'm sure they're trying their hardest to lock up the dregs of society to keep the rest of us safe.
 
I've never been arrested by the police myself, and found most of them I've had minor dealings with as okay people.

It is an impossible job though, everyones innocent aren't they?
 
Let's get rid of the police then and let cunts like James O'Brien deal with law and order via his student protest approach. I'm sure the country will be sorted.

Alternatively, get the right people in place, at the right scale, and let’s police this country correctly.

Thing is its not just the Met - up here Cleveland Police are in special measures and have had to pay ££££'s in compensation to claimants - some even their own officers who were racially abused..... I can't imagine its just 2 forces in the UK that are in this mess
 
Well of course the Met have been found to be ' racist, sexist and homophobic '. That's what the report was set up to find in the first place, regardless of the evidence.
it's all part of the Marxist think tank onslaught to eventually have them de-funded. The whole force gets tarred because of a few bad apples, but when you get terrorists blowing people up on the streets of London and Manchester in the name of their religious beliefs, they're ' lone wolfs , mentally ill ' etc etc etc
