Political relations between UK-EU

Just gotten back from Morrisons - what a relief

I had a shopping list that had what was needed and 3 levels of contingencies/alternatives - in the expectation that the shelves would be empty - as promised.

Just joking - but seriously, of course there is going to be a need for companies to adapt to new processes etc. - we have been in the EU for 40+ years

That there is a need for business change is not really the issue that we Leavers are pointing out.

We were promised that there would be chaos and that the country would grind to a halt - that there would be panic and widespread dissatisfaction.

Companies having to sensibly adapt their business processes is not really the apocalyse that was forecast is it

We are 3 full working days in.... stuff on its way to the uk before Brexit will either have just arrived or still be en route........

This is probably not a good thing but hardly relevant when you hear the FTSE might hit record highs this year...

Hopefully some common sense will prevail.
Sounds like a mini-apocalypse!!

This seems like totally new ground being trodden - though - I wonder what they do when they tour non-EU countries?

Can you not see the trend here............

That things have gone smoothly - after years of some posters insisting that things will not - is causing a lot of frustration and making some posters scrape barrels as they look for anything whatsoever that could give them comfort

The departure of Dominic Cummings, who was the principal figure in our refusing to entertain a ‘level playing field’ provision, was announced 10 days after Biden won the election.

A month later we took the EU offer on fish, agreed LPF clauses, backed down on our threat to unilaterally override the Withdrawal Agreement and signed a deal.

Probably just a coincidence:)
Bluemoon benefits from you not only having the inside track to Biden's team but also Johnsons;-)

Wow

If only Leave voters had known that could happen......

Your mate sounds like he has expensive tastes;-)

I would guess though - rather than us going back and begging - we will just get more informed and careful in our shopping habits
Tbf he didn’t say where he had bought it from so it could be the usual fake news continually posted.
I bought a shirt from the states a couple of years ago and import duty etc came to £57.
