Poll Closed - Favourite Male Vocalist

I was listening on the radio about a new film about Elvis thats due out soon. I was not fully tuned in but I am sure that the reviewer said Elvis was 3rd in most sold albums USA behind Beatles and the Garth Brooks.
Brooks has sold 157million albums.
Can this be true or is it the same myth as " you are never more than 6 foot away from a rat or a rags/dipper supporter"
Its always interesting in these polls that the winner is not always the most popular sales wise or vice versa.

I thought the best selling album was the best of the eagles or greatest hits or something.

I fear legendry singer Mohammed Rafi hasn't made it

They may well be. I didn't check who was the biggest selling but seemingly he has sold more than 157m albums which is incredible.
Any time I check those figures for album sales I can never seem to get a definitive answer.

I just checked Wikipedia and this is what it says. Don't know how accurate they are. The second column is the album sales in millions.

1 183 The Beatles UK
2 157 Garth Brooks US
3 146.5 Elvis Presley US
4 120 Eagles US
5 112.5 Led Zeppelin UK
6 89 Michael Jackson

Mick Hucknall and he's in my top ten for two. I think he'll give some of the luvvies a run for their money.
Ffs Two, I was taking the piss. I can't stand the fuzzy haired rag.
I knew who it was all along. I just never thought anyone and I do mean anyone, could like him.

I know you say your not keen chap but doesn't everyone in order to fit in on Blue media. Anyway I actually do have him down for a 2 pointer at 9th and have a sneaky feeling when the scores are revealed there'll be a few more closet strawberries outed. He has a smooth distinctive voice coupled wih a wide vocal range and regularly described as a blue eyed singer (aka) legendary white soul.

It must be difficult overcoming adversity as a fuzzy haired rag and so it would boost his confidence no end Musty if you could give him a big off-topic hug and let him hear you say You Love Him.

Say You Love Me

Say you love me all around the world
Stay and hug me all around the world
Be yours a boy or be mine a girl
Just say you love me
Just say you love me

Submitted.

A very difficult one for me, this one.

Most of the artists at the top of my list are more renowned for their lyrics and band performances than true vocal ability. At the same time, I'm not going to vote for any singer whose music I don't like (so that's all crooners out!) or anybody just because somebody else says they can hold a note (so that's Frank Sinatra barred for a second reason!)

So I've submitted a list of vocalists who I'd be happy to listen to singing any random song.
