Yaya and his agent are delusional. At the end of the day the club needs to be protected from this kind of embarrassment. We should be talking about our Title our Academy new signings but we are dragged into these egotistical pricks ramblings. Gives people like knob jockey Piers Morgan ammo to slag off our club https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/ ... 4496498689.

Ill give that a re-watch straight away

strength of a bull, balance of a gymnast, feet of a ballerina, ego the size of an elephant.

It's a tough one, the fans have no influence so we trust the club

Yaya has said himself in the past that City would rather his agent say nothing! Why then support his agents statements when he should be concentrating on the World Cup?

Given ffp transfer limits we have keep Yaya providing he has no improvement to his contract and he doesn't start sulking. Hopefully he has the good grace to make a public apology to all associated with the club for the untimely comments after a tremendous season and at a time when the club is trying to attract new talent. This would show the media that this story is put to bed and should happen before the start of the World Cup.

I'd keep him,I think he's our best player but I feel he's not doing himself or his reputation any favours by not making a statement and putting it all to rest.

What a fucking ridiculous thread.
Nobody knows just what the fuck is going on here, so what say we wait and see what the reality is first, before we start nailing him to the wall based solely on a couple of contradicting tweets and a rant from an agent with more form than Frankel?
But I'm sure those who actually run our club will be watching this thread really closely for a heads-up on just how they should handle the situation.

Ridiculous, but not that ridiculous to add your thoughts!

Facts are, and these are facts based on what successful businesses people do, that unless Yaya does an immediate public U turn then without doubt he will be sold abroad quickly and for good money.

Maximum financial benefit will be sought at the expense of minimum bad publicity and zero benefit for any of our Premier League rivals.

Under no circumstances will a cancerous bad apple be allowed to fester within our squad.

The ball is well and truly in Yaya's court but the clock is ticking. He either keeps playing or he wants out and takes his ball home.

As one paper had it already. Yaya, you cannot have your cake and eat it!

Good post - totally agree. He has to make a public apology on behalf of himself and his worm of an agent. We can't have this happening every year when a player has signed a contract for a further 3 years - how we handle this will set a precedent for any other players who think they are too big for the club. He needs to act fast or we should get rid for the best return that we can get (outside of England of course)

This. He was instrumental in our title run. Not many players like him around.
