pool or snooker?

i played pool at an high level for a few years but gave it up totally ,cause from the top (the epa) down to local leagues are all run by idiots who act like little hitlers. As for snooker im pretty decent at that too had a fair few 100 breaks, dont mind playing the odd game of it now but find it tedious to watch. So for me at the minute its 9 ball pool

Pool for a knockabout in the pub. Snooker to prove you have serious hand eye coordination.

Me and the old man used to play 8 ball but pocket the ball in number order (old spot/stripes). It's too easy otherwise. You cant cant do it with new yllow/red

I'm obsessed with safety play so snooker is better in that respect.

Half the reason for that is that I'm useless at potting. To be fair I hardly ever play these days. Last summer I played pool every lunch time at work and got pretty good. It's a lot easier and once you are in you're expected to pot a fair few balls.

If you're obsessed by safety play... then pool is the game...

Both require skill... and I know that good snooker players are not neccessary good pool players.
