Pop, Soda, Mineral

We had the Corona man come round when I was a kid. We called it pop, although my grandparents would say mineral.
When I moved to Cleveland, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the locals here say pop too. It’s a Great Lakes/ MidWest thing.
It’s crazy how in the South everything is Coke, but that’s just yet another reason to avoid that area.

They call it ginger in Scotland in recognition of the national hair colour I believe..

I went in a newsagents in Liverpool before a game in the 80s and a young scallywag in front of me asked for a bottle of lemonade. The guy asked him, what colour? And he said, black.

WTF was that about?
