Pop in Lancashire where I grew up.

We weren’t allowed it, had only Vimto, Ribena or Quosh. Or tap water.

Quosh, not heard of or seen that stuff for years.

We had the Corona man come round when I was a kid. We called it pop, although my grandparents would say mineral.
When I moved to Cleveland, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the locals here say pop too. It’s a Great Lakes/ MidWest thing.
It’s crazy how in the South everything is Coke, but that’s just yet another reason to avoid that area.
