I have a feeling this thread has already been done a couple of years ago but meh

1. stoke's season runs november to february, they only play evening games and the weather in stoke is always shite

I mean seriously it seems to me that the 90% of football fans think the barometer for greatness is how well a player performs against stoke away on a rainy winters night

I live there, and often I've left for the game and it's been pissing down, and have dressed accordingly, only to arrive in a Manchester that's bathed in sunshine,looking like someone on an Oasis pilgrimage. I don't know if there are any stats to back it up but I swear it rains more in the Potteries than in Greater Manchester.
