Mason may actually favour us today but I'm not holding my breath.

A quote from the Vale forum...

Lee Mason is the ref. The first time he reffed a Vale game was against Luton 17 years ago when we were in administration and we thought the Icelanders were going to take us over. He gave a very soft penalty against us and someone ran on the pitch and tried to hit him.

Remember if you've been moved into SS1 like me you need to enter via P or L depending on which side of SS1 you are in. L will probably mean walking around Ashton Rd & possibly to the bridge to get to the entrance going off previous games. Give yourself a bit more time to get in.

Foreign TV only, so no I've no idea either, it could have been at 3pm.
The same as with the Sheffield United match.

I am sick of 17:30/18:00 kickoffs. We have had five or six home matches in a row at these times. We can cope with 12:30 or 15:00 on Saturday and 14:00 or 16:00 on Sunday without an overnight stay.

Having sold out to the TV companies, I can accept that kick-off times will be moved to avoid 15:00 on Saturdays but matches are being moved when not on UK TV. I would have thought that there was more to be gained in the East by opting for earlier kick-offs than going later to suit North and South American TV companies?
