Porto (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

The thing was VAR got it correct ... unfortunately.
Did it?

A subjective decision based on inaccurate technology, and well before the goal. Also, Rodder's didn't gain an advantage by being an ankle in front of the last defender, and he played the ball backwards.

The fact that the HUMAN generated lines showed him offside doesn't mean he actually was. The relatively slow frame rate (50fps) allows up to 13cm difference between the point the pass is actually struck and the moment the VAR official subjectively decides when they THINK the pass was made, and therefor open to error, or worse corruption.

Job done. Top of the group. Clean sheet. No injuries. Players rested

the ref was a fuckin disgrace

Usual story of their keeper having the game of his life, a disgrace of a referee and a VAR stitch-up.

But the amount of chances we miss is genuinely incredible.

We're crying out for a big striker who can put himself about and in games like this it could make all the difference.

A dull affair as it often is in the group stages.

The ref was awful as usual, let them kick the shit out of us and only manages to find his cards for an innocuous arm into the chin. It can be so painful watching Spanish and Portuguese teams because of the play acting, you can see it with Cancelo with us, its fuicking embarrassing.
Is Jack Grealish Spanish or Portuguese ? What about Salah ?
