I'd take a 1-1 against the holders right now. Rags play a club 6th in the Eurodivisie and a routine win generates a typical wank fest in the media. Arsenal lost 2-1 at Porto away then beat them 5-0 at home so all is not yet lost. Balo needs a goal or needs subbing after 60 mins.

I would have taken a 1-0 defeat before the game. I would take a 1-0 defeat now. I would also take a 1-0 defeat after the game.

Yes, well I'm sure you two are part of the rational brigade on here, but anyone with more than 4 brain cells will see that this performance has been unacceptable. Almost in tears, here. My hands are shaking. I've already ripped down my Balotelli and Toure posters, and smashed my Man City mug in a rage. I'm going to be sending the club an invoice to have them replaced.

that Mancini will never get City a significant trophy.

I think he is way over his head with this. Constant shuffling of 4-5 players in an out of the squad...I think it's not working.

With the amount of TALENT on this team - he has no excuse for not bagging in a major silverware this year.

If he doesnt no doubt in my mind next year City needs a new manager.

Really shocked, yes we are a goal down but we aren't playing half as badly as many on here seem to think and we would be odds on to go thru if we bring 1-0 back to Eastlands

I think the worst thing about that half was Jim Beglin's attempts at commentary. Why doen't he just come right out and blame us for the recession, 911, World Wars I and II and the end of the universe?

Not too concerned by the performance - goal was very soft but we can nick one here. Bit more direct, they look flimsy at the back, keeper is a flapper. Even 2-1 wouldn't be a disaster.
