To be fair to the ref, it wasn't one of the harder decisions he's ever had to make.

I agree he needs a rest and thought it'd be tonight. But presumably he'll rest him for the home leg or Blackburn at home.

We've been lucky that he's coming back to a nice run of fixtures to bed him back in.
