Sad state of affairs really. They have been issued with a WU order this afternoon

Harry's bung having repercussions!

Of all the other Clubs throughout the UK,this is the one set of supporters I feel gutted for.
Time and time again, they were told that the promised land of money would be bestowed upon them and all their troubles would be over.False dawns and shit F.A. "Proper Persons" tests proved to be their downfall.
I cant believe how lucky we are with our Owner but Harry and Co appear to have stitched this famous club up.
Good luck to Pompey and their superb fans and I hope you see some form of justice with "our `arry" taking the brunt, the **** !

It's no surprise Bent Arry sold all his best players if he was getting a 10% kickback. The reality is he chose money over a relatively stable team to line his own pockets.
Agreed you have to feel for the Pompey fans in all this.
Maybe they should picket the Courtroom where Arry is being tried as this bung they are on about relates to his time there.

I feel so sorry for the supporters, this should never have happened. Not only did redknap help to bleed them dry he then went back and asset stripped them of the players he took there and by all accounts trousered a good percentage of the transfer fees as well.
Hope he gets what's coming to him..

I lived on Fratton rd for a while and knew a few Pompey fans. They will be gutted at this but not entirely surprised.
It's a disgrace what's happened to their club and shows that the fit and proper persons test is an utter joke. We knew that already though.

can't add much more to that apart from hoping justice prevails in court.

I hope Redknapp's guilt at the state he has left this club blows his head apart as he sits there listening to the tales of all this Pompey money swishing round the worlds tax havens as him and Mandaric stripped the club bare.

Feel sorry for the fans, Mandaric and Redknapp gutted the club between them and drove them into bankruptcy trying to maintain an unsustainable cost base given their ground and sponsorship plus paying off all these dodgy commission on transfers.

At least they got to see their team pick up a pot but I'd bet they'd trade it back in a heartbeat for a decent chairman and financial position now, probably even if it meant they were stuck in the Champpionship for the foreseeable future.
