I don’t understand this thought because the most they’re going to play is about six or seven games maximum if they win, which is no different to playing Premier League and a couple of Champions League games in a month

Could be more beneficial being out there and being match fit and sharp, rather than sat around and training, waiting for the league to restart

And the odds of someone to get an injury isn’t really any different to if they were playing league football and training here. They could quite easily go through the World Cup unscathed and get injured in the first Premier League game back.
