Having thought about it over the last week, I think my order of preference would be:
1. Foden to move from the wide forward positions into attacking midfield and Bernardo Silva to decide to stay until he retires so we don’t have to sign anyone in attacking midfield and concentrate on a proper left back.
2. Foden to move from the wide forward positions into attacking midfield and sign Joao Felix.
3. Foden to move from the wide forward positions into attacking midfield and sign Frenkie de Jong
4. Foden to stay wide and sign Joao Felix and Frenkie de Jong.
5. Foden to move from the wide forward positions into attacking midfield and sign Bellingham.
I reckon Felix and de Jong are both better suited to us than Bellingham. Plus any combination of them with Foden long term in attacking mid over signing Bellingham.
Bellingham is good but he’s not quite the player we usually have in attacking midfield.
