There are so many reasons I don’t want Portugal to win the World Cup, but they all pale in to insignificance when thinking about little Bernie Silva lifting the trophy.

Is there a City player who we’d prefer to win the WC over Bernie ? May be Phil ?

Would it be good or bad for our chances of keeping him for another 3+ years ?

You wouldn’t have thought so with that crowd last night. What a complete bunch of arseholes they were, constantly chanting his name. It was as if they had all been brainwashed.

That was disgusting but shows the ignorance of a lot of the new style football fans.

The way he walked off the pitch on his own with his teammates celebrating a stunning victory said everything, total lack of respect for his fellow pros but of far more importance, a total disrespect to the Nation he represents.

The "man" has proved to be a utter **** of the highest order.

You just know his PR team will spin it as,he didn’t play much of the match so he didn’t wanna steal their moment from such a great performance,hence him trudging off like the massive wet wipe he is
