Football often comes up with a game like this when yer think that the Swiss are gonna be dogged defenders and the Portuguese are gonna end up playing like the Spanish - and then yer get something that's quite the opposite.

I always say about 'cup' competitions is that yer can win the trophy and only have one decent game, and it needn't be the final.
