Positive news about Corona Virus Updates

We went for our normal Monday shopping trip today (we go on Thursdays too), we were determined to just do our normal shop where possible rather than add to the madness. Surprisingly the High St. was like a ghost town and the bank had just 2 customers in. Although all of the supermarkets had various empty shelves if you couldn't get something in one shop then the next had plenty. They were all really quite too and everyone was polite and obviously giving each other plenty of room. It's like a switch has been thrown and people have suddenly caught on that there's no point in panicking. I was quietly impressed.
 
So, depending on how you look at it, this will be a dry run for when automation kicks in, in around 25-30 years!

Society will be paid a UBI to not get in the way of a well run society, police drones and self drive cars with a Human passenger or two will be patrolling, same for fire engines, your houses will be ordering your food and essentials for you on a more global scale, you'll have robot cleaners doing your toilets, in business and your personal one at home, your gardening and all that.

We'll all get fat or get osteoporosis from lack of exercise...

It will feel like we're in the film "Wall-E"!
