No news. I had a long chat with her 2 days back. It seems like she only talks to me when no one is in the office. Her cousin died so she was a bit down. She opened up a bit about how she went through a really bad breakup 4 years ago. It was a long distance relationship and he was 10 years senior but he dumped her. I don't think she has gotten over it yet. She also talked about another guy she liked around 6 years ago but he never asked her out on a date. I believe that's one of the reasons why she helps disadvantage kids in her spare time from what I can recall she told me. Maybe that's her way of dealing with having no kids. I felt bad for her and told her to go on as many dates as she can since she is still really young.

What do you mean? If she is embarrassed to talk to me then why talk at all? I am not the one who starts the conversation.

True, a lot of non genuine cases are using any excuse just attract attention, meanwhile the genuine case get lost in the general morass

Exactly. Who knows Roy. Just humour her. Perhaps one day she’ll just come out with what it is she actually wants from you...
