I dont want a simple text conversation, I want her to be attracted to me. Are you trying to say simply texting a woman is enough to make her attracted to me?

Me and @Bigga are opposites. He is an attractive man who has many, many sexual conquests, I am an ugly man with only 2 women. But he continues to sleep with women apparently below him, whereas I want to be with women I am actually attracted to I.e with common interests, something to talk about.

You dont need air quotes to say I am ugly, I am in fact an ugly man

I think that's probably the worst/ best insult I've ever had!!

Attraction has nothing to do with most of it when it comes to older women! They've been there, done that as youngsters.

What, mainly, matters is being able to click, make them laugh, feel secure, see the self confidence in yourself, be a man without overly being macho.

Find these things in yourself.

That's not an answer! If you have women in your real life that you are attracted to, then you must understand the risk of making those particular relationships awkward.

You don't seem to get that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. That means it's not just aesthetics in nature where that holds true.

You could have the prettiest face and most awful personality.

You could have an average face and wicked personality.

Who wins?

I've seen some average guys with some super looking girls and with ordinary girls. What matters is conquering your self defeatist attitude.

That will never be a winner for the person you want.

I am a cynical man

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder as you claim than my work colleague is the best chance to prove that

In my experience women generally have more than one guy sniffing around, it is far more likely they will choose the most handsome option.

You've said she's an older woman. If she was in her 20s/ 30s, I'd be more inclined to agree.

She is not and she'll have a clearer idea of what she wants in life.

At one point you'll end up being sick of your own cynicism, believe me.

If you're already talking to her every day and you don't really talk to her outside of work, it's you doing that to yourself.

It's up to you, fella.
 
This thread is a classic, a bit like the dating disasters one. I'm still not sure if it's a wind up or a genuine heartfelt appeal for help from a bunch of hard nosed football fans, which seems an odd choice for a clearly sensitivity soul as the op.
