Definitely bring them back!
That's something you'd need to ask Ric or Damocles. I can't speak for them. For me, seeing a member's post count on the main forum isn't that important, others (like you) will disagree. Fair enough. I'm not going to fall out with anyone over it.
2.6; is that all? Pfft.I'd rate this post as 2.6 times as important as Karen's.
You could equally ask, if you can do that, then why put them back ? Its hardly difficult to do.If you can do that then why remove them from view in the first place?

But why hide them in the first place if we can still see them? You could equally ask, if you can do that, then why put them back ? Its hardly difficult to do.
I didn't hide them, and wasn't bothered either way, so my opinion on it was neutral, I was just responding to your question. If you are that desperate to know how many posts a user has, then its easy to find out, personally I couldn't care less, I'll judge the poster on the content of their posts. But why hide them in the first place if we can still see them?
No need to remove them in the first place

The reasoning was that you'd have to actively look to find them. The hope was that posts would be judged on their merit, rather than any pre-conceptions based on the user's post count. Another consideration was some users posting meaningless shit just to boost their post counts.
