Post Match Remedies after a defeat? What do you do to cheer yourself up?

Tell myself it’s only football
Tell myself we can’t win it every year
Tell myself to be calm and accept it
Tell myself that not being in a stressful title race for a season and watching a rebuild will be interesting

Then lose it on watsapp anytime a United or Liverpool fan criticizes us in any way
 
I avoid all football media for 36 hours and pretend it never happened. Meanwhile, I drink.
Doing this for thirty years was a nightmare, leaving me ignorant and pissed.
Oh those happy blues born in 2000, witnessing wall to wall brilliance.

I find that if i'm at home watching and we lose i will start cooking tea, and the best way to forget about a shit result is to pull a big bag of peas from the freezer with the open end at the bottom..
