Sterling gives us this wild card quality that we really lacked last year. He gives every back absolute fits. No reason this team should not go far in Europe. Pellers should have his team ready.

Have to agree with this. sterling hasn't fully clicked yet (for example he missed a lot of dangerous Kolarov overlaps) but when he does it is going to be spectacular to watch. The threat of his pace combined with the vision and passing ability we have elsewhere is going to be an absolute nightmare for teams to defend against

The whole back line played the best I have seen for a long time. Just no weakness. Mangala was super. Sagna was super. Kolo was super and capt. Fantastic back to his best!!
