Great spirit and a great 2nd half. Yes we got lucky with the second but so did they with the first which should have been a free kick to us and we hit the woodwork twice as well so thoroughly deserved without even mentioning the penalty we where denied first leg.
Kun magnificent as to was KdB when he came on and his injury is a real worry. Biggest impact for me though was yet again Navas who simply gets us playing and ticking.
Fernandinho was brilliant as well all night he really was.
Loved the irony of seeing Everton players suddenly complaining about time wasting pmsl.
Wonderful for the gaffer as well tonight as he made some big calls that paid off.
Another final for him and us, wonderful.

Great spirit in the lads to comeback. Once we took took Delph off and stopped inexplicably having Yaya as the shield for our defence we completely dominated them and gave them nothing. Navas yet again making a huge difference just by keeping width and giving us shape, then De Bruyne coming on to add the cutting edge. Today is more proof imo that Yaya shouldn't start games. He can't play deep and we clearly have better option to play in that number 10 role instead off him, but that's a debate for another day. Fuck you Everton, no Wembley for you.

I would go as far as saying he was mature enough to let the game flow.A "brave" decision by the linesman not to give the goal kick. Everton are nothing but a bunch of cloggers.
Our season will not be defined by Carling Cup and before the game I was not overly bothered...But once the game started I can't stand Everton, from the keeper time wasting, picking up a clearly injured KDB and then complaining about time wasting...I hope they have that injust feeling makes it all the sweeter!! So really made up and a trip to Wembley is always good!!

Didn't think it was a free kick but that goalkeeper should get a ban. Could have made what looks a bad injury even worse.Great win but at what cost. Stretchered off and not even a free-kick.
