Post Match Thread: City vs Everton

WE'RE MAN CITY WE'LL FIGHT 'TIL THE END

Amazing game, really hard fought and the attacking play was sensational from the start.
Otamendi was probably at fault for their goal but I thought he definitely made up for it especially with those great slide tackles. It was hard then knowing we had to score 3 but I still believed we could do it because we were fantastic going forward today.
Sure there was luck in our 2nd goal but they've had plenty of fortune themselves. It was great play by Raheem, I thought at a certain point he really stepped it up and used his pace so well. Fernandinho more than merited his deflected goal too.
Pellegrini's subs really worked today, Navas was brilliant and Kevin was majestic. Sweet finish and perfect assist, can only hope his injury isn't as bad as it looked. Ofcourse every single player was tremendous in fighting back like that but must mention Sergio Kun Agüero; it's a dream to watch him in this form his winning goal was sublime.

Total belief we can win at Wembley, how sweet it would be to get revenge and lift the cup I can't wait!

That was like going back in time tonight. Everything about it was fantastic. The atmosphere in and out of the ground was good, there was a bit of tension in the air, the conditions out on the pitch were perfect and after a relatively poor first half we turned it around in fucking style. That's the most I've enjoyed a game in a long time.
Fucking love this club.

I love Pablo Zabaleta. I forgot how much until tonight, the man is Manchester City.

On another note, did anyone notice any fisticuffs in and around the ground? I had Everton fans sat around me but all kept quiet, not heard anything different.
About eight of them jumped up for their goal in 105 and you wouldn't mind so much (I've been in home sections for City away games and tried to blend in as much as poss) but they carried on goading people around them so everyone was up after them and they got turfed out (the Everton fans).

Was a load of fighting after the game.

exactly what I thought. it was a proper city crowd, barely any tourists and everyone seemed up for it, even the colin bell stand was singing !. so glad i went. the everton fans were shit

I thought Demichellis and Clicy played well

I'm still not sure about Otemendi, he dives in far too much and seems to lose the physical battles

Klopp is going to be an insufferable floppy haired grinning posturing **** at Wembley, I can see it now.
We may as well not turn up for Wembley anyway as that **** said they we're going to win the final no matter who they got last night.

Do you reckon the knob head will have his teeth whitened again for the occasion?

I was expecting Lukaku to have a field day against Demichelis, but I don't Lukaku won a challenge all night

I thought City's back 5 were superb.

Only thing that bothered me was Barkley running through unchallenged. Didn't get Delph's substitution at half time. he was the only midfielder who was putting a tackle in. Toure really is on borrowed time. For a player who makes so little physical contribution he has to make a huge impact with the ball. He isn't doing. Use him as a sub

We are in 105. There was one guy in particular who was giving it large after their goal. He racially abused a few Asian guys on the way to being thrown out. Total dickhead

I actually thought Ota had a decent game, covered for Demi quite abit. Granted he spends more time on the deck than on his feet but not gonna lie it's good watching him take man, ball, everything! Maybe he just needs to use abit of common sense sometimes.

Well after the clear foul on Navas at Goodison for the penalty that never was, and the offside from their first goal at Goodison to the foul on Sterling for the penalty that never was in the last minute of the league game, to the foul on Aguero in the build up to the goal tonight and the blatant push on Aguero from Robles, to both of our efforts that struck the post, I don't see how they can have any fucking complaints about their luck running out. Fuck em.

Great great performance. I've heard negative stuff about one or two of our players, but you know what...I don't give a shit.

Any player that made a mistake tonight, more than made up for their errors. Things happen in games, our very own Kun sliced a shot which we would have all thought was going in the onion bag, so let's get off the bashing wagon and give all our lads a round of applause tonight. They knew they needed to take the game by the scruff of the neck, and that's exactly what they did. Am so proud of my team tonight.

Thought this myself initially. I was so Fucking angry with their keeper.

Regardless of the above
