Post Match Thread: City vs Southampton

City gave them a smaller allocation, just in windy corner, they complained and we were fined for it.
Even with less seats, they didn't sell out though.
Sounds about right, but I am pretty sure there were a fair few from their reduced allocation being touted to Blues at a huge premium? Didn't we also have to reduce their ticket prices or subsidise their travel costs the following season?

Got there in the end:
They couldn't sell their reduced allocation yet still complained to the PL like the set of petty shit-for-brains no-hopers they really are.
And the PL, another member of the shit-for-brains club, made us give them a lot of freebies the following season. And even then they only shifted them by offering free transport. I pissed my sides when they went down a couple of times.

If we dont win the title it will be down to 2 fundamental issues. 1. We dont put away the umpteen chances we get. 2. The dreaded ongoing injury list. On a different point WHERE TF are the City fans nowadays. SO many empty seats almost every home match.....frankly its embarrasing and cannot be defended. If the players had a forum they would have every right to slag the "fans" off that dont turn up.
Quite likely injuries will decide this league as they sometimes do. Not so worried about missing chances to be honest once we keep creating them. We played well Saturday for 25 mins then went asleep. We could easily have been punished for that lapse. We lost control of midfield and started to look a bit "liverpool" like at the back. However, on balance more positives than negatives to take out of this and can look forward to the December programme with a bit more confidence especially if we can get Kompany back.

You should be aware that in the South Stand where the fans stand for the whole 90 minutes there is usually more than one person per seat. This is because people move round from other sections to join their mates so three people to two seats is not uncommon.

Just shows how many more people the stadium could accommodate if we had safe standing.
