Post Match Thread: City vs Spurs

Sky have the cheek to pull Pellegrini over and show him video evidence. Do that with Clatanburge too. He should be answerable to that. Disgusting.
Better from yaya and most the team but still not good enough.

Much improved performance, better team throughout. Undone by Clattenburg cheating (and poor finishing).

Disappointing result, sure - one that probably puts the tin lid on any title aspirations. But the performance warrants praise, not criticism. Set up was good and worked, and the players showed much more fight than usual over the 90 mins.

Some common sense, good to see.

Video evidence of what mate? I don't watch the bullshit.

I was referring to the other week where they made Pellegrini watch a replay of an incident. They should have done the same thing with the non hand ball to the ref. Or at least ask him to explain what he thought he saw.

Ah right, gotcha. They're never going to do that. Why? Because they don't like us very much. There's a reason I don't watch the bullshit. If I could mute the commentary I'd do that too, relieved when I find a foreign stream to watch games.

The signs have been there for a while.
A number of players lack motivation.
We are very poor when not in possession and completely fail to put any pressure on their players until we go behind, by which time it's too late.
It was galling to see how well we played second half once we went a goal down and it's almost incomprehensible how contrasting that was with the first 45.
Its clear to me that Pellegrini is unable to motivate this group any more and is nowhere near getting the best out of this team. That combined with persistently suicidal tactics will cost us much silver wear this season.
I am optimistic that the arrival of a more disciplinarian approach next season with the addition of a few "workers" to the team will get us there.
