Apparently they want a hard brexit someone on tv said
They are wrong then. They do not want a hard border with the Republic, or passport controls between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. There is only one way that can happen. remaining in the Customs Union.

"Corbyn ran a fantastic campaign; to hold is head so high and stand so firm despite the pathetic and and frightening vitriol directed at him from Murdoch and Dacre shows that he is a much stronger leader than people give him credit for".

Nice to see their perceived power kicked in the nads.

But it would be voted down by Tory + DUP and no SF votes so it would fail.

Not necessarily. The DUP does not want special status for Northern Ireland in the Brexit negotiations, which would be necessary for a hard Brexit to be a possibility. Remaining within the single market is what the DUP wants and Labour can give it to them.

But this scenario is not likely, Labour has the momentum but not the numbers, they're making mischief, which is as it should be.

Except that the election would never have been called in the first place had any of those people been Labour leader!
It was simply a power grab by Mavis based on her gamble that she could easily beat Jezz.

Well yes, I suppose that's true. How ironic.

A point which must not be mentioned, as it spoils the doing-down of Labour's improvement.

That's a ridiculous phrase, even for you.

It's the rules, it's naff all to do with what an MP thinks.

So I state something which is essentially true, and you choose to be confrontational and rude? I see.

And incidentally, plenty of people on the Labour side seem blissfully unaware of the rules then, don't they.

On a night where no one seemed to Win - Corbyn can hold his head high, a great campaign with a costed Manifesto - came across passionate and genuine in debates and speeches, the right wing smear campaign against him truly backfired, all the IRA crap against him, the jeers he got when he addressed real concerns from the public in PMQ's
- May and Torys announced this election because they were very confident of a outright majority, now seats down and clinging on to power banking on the DUP. interesting times ahead.

You may want to review many of your postings over the last week for 'confrontational and rude'. You wrote something which was spinning like mad.
MPs probably are aware.

nice spin chippy
you missed out the attempted character assasination the press attempted with Corbyn
Did have me chuckling too, its completely ignoring that for all the millions and squillions of pink haired student votes he's bribed, there are many who normally vote Labour but find Corbyn and the lurch to the left unpalatable, and therefore didn't, and I'll admit I'm one of them. Whatever way you look at it this is a stunning result for JC and his supporters and I doff my cap and will tuck into some humble pie later. That said its still not as stunning as Blair turning a 70 seat deficit into a 253 seat majority ;)

Hopefully DUP talks with Tories fall through, go horrendously leaving the way open for a Labour govt
A minority government that is outvoted by the Tories on every issue? How is that progressive?

Not true. They want an open border with the south. You have misunderstood that to mean remaining in the single market.

The astonishing thing about this election is where the UKIP vote went - most went to Labour.
