I said the other day on here - this is what Small Government means and looks like. Those with the fewest means and the smallest voice will always suffer in the struggle resulting from a smaller safety net being their only hope.

Smart right wingers, of which there seems to be a scarcity, realise that they walk the streets safely and their homes are not ransacked, not because of laws and coppers, but because of a healthy civic society and a social contract that binds us all together, regardless of wealth and circumstance, underpinned by decency, humanity and empathy.

You deliberately destroy that contract at your peril.

Don't make me laugh your lot (the extreme socialists) seem determined to bring anarchy to the country. Can see a riot happening in London this year.

I think that the civic society of which you speak has been endangered to breaking point in the last 40 years due to the relentless focus on profit over the welfare of society. One of the tools that have been used to bring this about has been privatisation. In my opinion it is high time this was reversed. I personally believe in a mixed economy with asocial conscience. To that end I think Corbyn could do this country a lot of good if he got into power and started his programme of re-nationalisation as the Labour manifesto promised. I don't advocate that manufacturing industries should necessarily be nationalised but the services on which the common people rely from day to day certainly should be. A good point to start would be gas, electricity, communications, railways, water, postal services, health etc. I don't think a richer society that is selfish is better than a society that is more equal and looks after all it's citizens regardless of their wealth. I think the pendulum has swung too far and a correction is long overdue. This seems to me to be the only way to preserve cohesion and civility in society.

Communications? Seriously?

Agree with the thrust of your post, apart from the scarcity of smart right-wingers. It does make me chuckle when those on the left proclaim they have a near monopoly on intelligence. It's bollocks, frankly.

I can see a riot in london this year

caused by the increased social inequality increased by the government over the last 7 years

You can't be truly intelligent without compassion, and in general 'the left' demonstrate that more than the right.
