I consider it bad luck to win all the pre-season friendlies, so am happy with the result. I do think it is strange the team doesn't get a full week at home training before hitting the road, but you can't argue the value preseason friendlies. You learn so much more about your squad in a competitive match over a scrimmage.
Who cares about the results in pre season friendlys.We had a really rubbish pre season under Kevin Keegan in 2001.And look what happened that season.Also we lost to some team from Saudi Arabia this time last year.
They seemed to get down our left quite easily in the first half and create some chances due to our LB being hopelessly out of position time and again. It's no coincidence that Kolarov was playing!!!!
