Post match V Amazulu

Does anyone know if the South African season is underway at present,
because both the sides we played out there looked very fit and sharp.

They're a month ahead of us I believe.

Lets see how the first few real games go. If we don't win them and convincingly then I'm sure we will know what our opinion will be.

The worrying thing is that we could have won that game quite easily in the first half if the thoroughly decent chances had been put away. We are firing the same blanks as last season. Even at this time of the season what would the Arse or CFC made of those two teams? I think they would have seen them off quite comfortably!

The club sees games like these as a chance to not only get fit but impress the world and win popularity. At the moment we are doing neither

There really are some serious flappers on here.

FFS its pre-season, not all the players are there are and the guys are doing 3 training sessions a day. Before you all start panicking and wondering if life is worthwhile take a deep breathe and relax

I usually find that the worse we do in pre season the better we do once the season gets underway. I don't think that's a coincidence, just that the harder the players work in training, the less sharp they're going to be in the friendlies.

So I'm quite happy with the start to pre season.

I ask does anyone one have the last pre season results tabulated to back this claim or refute it ?
