Postcode Lottery / National Lottery

My area recently won £6k (a few select houses won £96k) but I didn’t enter. Meh.

She has been given it after the lottery people reviewed the cctv of the couple purchasing the ticket and she paid for it ! Therefore not a woman ffs

So far as the story allows, the claim is that they went to buy the tickets after he suggested they do so. Supposedly he attempted to transfer the money in the shop but due to lack of signal this did not happen. The money was transferred later (she claims this didn't happen, but if it did, by her own standards, she would be entitled to zero as he paid for it (appreciate it would get messy here as she made the initial transaction))

They were living together and in a relationship.

Having realised they had won the money, they talked about what they would do with it.

Clearly, she paid for the tickets, and only one name can be put on the ticket when claiming.

Morally though, that is pretty shitty behaviour from her to not split the cash.

The story mentions nothing to do with the character of either person, so calling her a woman on the back of that story is justified in my opinion.

So to clarify, if you are in that position.....

1. In a relationship with someone
2. Pay for a lottery ticket after agreeing to do so with partner
3. Win sizeable amount of money and discuss how you will spend it together
4. Decide to break up and keep all the money to yourself

That is acceptable in your eyes?

In a relationship but single not married so only one name and the person who paid for it does not have to share it , they might not have been happy together anyway , we dont know . It is easy to call her a woman because men do call women that for no reason on here , it is her money

If the man had paid for it, and decided to keep it all after splitting up, I would be calling him a 'wanker' or something similar.

Of course we don't know if they were happy together, the story does not go into that level of detail.

Morally, they should be splitting the money, and either of them deciding to do the opposite is seemingly based on greed and makes them a horrible person in my eyes.
