And of course just like with the 'This Is Our City' banner, it's got a double entendre ie. we all know what they are getting at is "..Welcome to Manchester Carloz Tevez.." but being placed at the beginning of Deansgate means it could be taken as "..Welcome to Manchester as you're now entering the very centre of town..". Even so, this is a lot more antagonistic than the previous TIOC campaign - what's the betting we are forced to remove it. Great idea though - obviously nicked from the City fans who sit on the Block 222 corner.

When I was involved with the fanzines we talked about doing something like this years ago to get under the rags skin. Unfortunately though, funds and a fear of getting kneecapped after getting caught up in some kind of flyposting war prevented us from ever doing it.

It's truly beautiful. I don't think you realise just how much this has got to them. Utterly brilliant. Our marketing team deserve a rise.
