Absolutly will not work for me.have followed instructions and have tried many different videos.im not doing something wrong as the instructions are not hard.must be my computor <a class="postlink" href="http://youtu.be/Fk9YjlZmAEU.if" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://youtu.be/Fk9YjlZmAEU.if</a> i just post this link its hightlighted blue.but when i put the same link in the youtube button brackets i get this [youtube]http://youtu.be/Fk9YjlZmAEU[/youtube]

any ideas?

I'm having an issue with Youtube clips of late... I have to amend the url to HTTP instead of HTTPS for it to properly work.. as follows:

First example:

[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haWVIaslEOs[/youtube]

And without the 's':

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haWVIaslEOs[/youtube]

This is a pain as https is the natural URL

They don't work for me anymore for some reason.
I do the usual [youtube] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=&" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=&</a> feature=youtube_gdata_player [/youtube] but just end up with a blank when I preview before posting.
Ps.It always worked before the change of forum format.

Absolutely stumped on this now. I've tried a few things but to no avail the best I get is a YouTube menu.
Never had any problems until recently.
Any ideas? Posting mostly on HTC One.

paste the original link that you had and go to youtube. Copy the full link and remove the s from https (in the address) post the new link inside the tags and you get the video above.
