Potential FA Cup semi

I would like to beat Wigan first.

Very true especially as they will not have anything to lose, just like in the final, and we will have a number of important games around it.

Presuming we were to beat Wigan, when would the semi be?

I think with us already in the Capital One Final a lot of people would sack the FA Cup Semi-Final off especially
if we haven't been drawn against Arsenal / Everton. A lot would want to save money for the final. I was
speaking to my mate last night and we were both thinking of giving it a miss. He reckons the Saturday
game is likely to be a 12.30pm kick off for the television which would make travelling a nightmare. The
whole Wembley experience is starting to get devalued due to the number of matches we have played there
(I never thought I would have said that when we went 29 years without a semi-final in any major
competition!). I think semi tickets would definitely go to Blue Card holders maybe even open sale.

The FA have no appreciation of the costs involved - with train fare, food, programme (another FA rip off) etc. with a family of four it's a £500 /£600 weekend. Only so many times you can do this a season.

I think differently mate, I think the FA know exactly how much it costs. But they are getting what they want, the working class man is being priced out and they can sell tickets to the more reserved middle class audience who will continue to pay the ridiculous prices and it will just keep getting worse and worse. Wouldn't go as far as saying there is an agenda, but I think the FA have the view that it will keep violence and hooliganism to a minimum if the working class man cannot afford it anymore, for the same reason that standing hasn't been brought back, the FA are still living in fear of the 80's. We just received our LC Final tickets and they were £56 each, as a Cat 4 ticket! That is absolutely shocking. Then train fares, London priced food and drink, it becomes like you said a £500/£600 weekend. But I suppose the FA can just turn around and say the cup is meant for any team to win, not just one team repeatedly going to Wembley every year, so it's your own success that is costing you. What happened to football?

Already booked hotels.

For the Saturday or Sunday ? How many Hotels ? As a blue member I hoping to get tickets this time, so relying on regulars giving it a miss. How many tickets do we normally get for a semi final ?

I've already sorted accommodation for the fa cup final

You're worse than Harper. Especially if you live in Croydon. How close would you have to live to Wembley before you didn't book a hotel two rounds in advance, you mad bastard.

About the same number of tickets as for the Capital One Final 31,500.
FA Cup Final it drops to about 26,000.
