Who cares as long as we win the League.
My feeling as well. Generally speaking it's a massive lack of respect to City & their players that no City player wins it in their back to back titles. Pep is great but no credit to the players? Sportswriters, sure - they are influenced by agendas & marketing but players tend to go for whom they believe. The PFA? I can only guess they are clearly agenda driven themselves
VVD is indeed great and has been, for me, unquestionably the MVP of Liverpool and arguably the most consistently vital player in the league - you could argue this is how the PFA may have seen it as well. Is the best overall player always at the team that wins the title? Definitely not. Is Van Dijk the best overall player in the Premiership, even just on this past season alone? Definitely not.

You get my general drift. Think about the times we won the league and manager's from opposing teams won the Manager of the season award.
Mancini & Pellegrini won the title and neither of them win manager of the season.

less a comment about Liverpool, more a comment about no City player winning PFA player of the year when we win the league.Wasn’t RVP at Arsenal?
Problem is that we have so many good players that the vote is split, whereas other teams have just one stand out player. Suspect anyone voting this year for a City player could pick any number hence why we had so many in team of the year.
