Indeed. Plenty of bars and restaurants at good prices. Take the funicular up to the Strahov Stadium, biggest stadium you'll ever see. Prague is my favourite city, but Vysehrad is the coolest area. Just be careful in the city centre tho. The castle is worth a visit, and get yourself over to the east of the city and check out the TV tower!Vysehrad is definatly worth a visit. It's a bit out of the city centre but it does mean you get nicer, cheaper restaurants than in the main tourist areas

Just south of the cemetery is the place to stay. Cheap accommodation and good local bars. Just a short tram ride into the centre too. Anywhere near the big conference centre that is at the south end of the massive flyover. However, as someone else has already said, mcfcinprague can probably give you even better tipsIs there a specific area of vysehrad to go to. All i seem to be able to find is a cemetary
