pre-derby butterflies.

I've had a terrible nights sleep, on bm until three and had two hours kip. Far to excited to sleep now......Will probably fall asleep 10 mins before it kicks off :(

I dropped an almighty bollock months ago before the fixtures were out an' agreed to help out at an Alzheimers Society charity walk at Plymouth Arglye's ground (Home Park) today so that's where I'm gonna be 'cos I won't back out of it seein' as I made a commitment. I'll be resplendent in my new City shirt an' doin' my own manic version of the "Likely Lads" episode where they're tryin' not to get told the match score so's they can watch it on telly later!! I've not looked forwrd to a game so much in all my years of supportin' City (roughly 46 give or take) an' it's funny not havin' any dread about how it's gonna go - we're gonna stick it up 'em Mr Mainwarin' cos they don't like it up 'em nosireeee!! BRING IT ON. To all Blues around the world have a great day an' be proud of the lads. As an aside, anyone hear baconface say United will never be underdogs to City "not in my lifetime" - good news he's only got a caoupla years left to live then eh? lol CTID

I sit here reading a few posts like the Stevie Ireland post and this one and have goosebumps running up my arms. I cannot wait for the next 4 hours to go so we can kick the rags arses.

Cannot wait.

Come on CITY

It's weird, I thought that, as the years go by (I'm 48), I'd get rid of these pre-derby nerves, but, If anything, I'm worse than ever!!

Woke up at 5.00am, and couldn't get back to sleep. Hate the OT derby, just for fear of us getting hammered, but don't think that will happen.

Just want it to happen now, and hope we'll all be celebrating later on! The pubs round here will be empty if we win!!

Come on City!!

my nerves have been at me all morning and i have only been up since 6.00 ! had a game of golf planned for this morning but called it off,i just wont be able to keep my mind on the round.I feel a mixture of hope, fear, and wonder all at the same time.Come on City !

Feeling for my lad today.

This is the first Scum game that he has either not been to or seen on TV for many years. He's 18 now and just joined the RAF last week. He's 'on duty' today so will be reliving the match through my text updates every 10 mins at about 8 o'clock tonight.

And we think we've got it bad.

Nervous? am i fuck lets twat these cunts.

They will be destroyed they dont know how much we have changed.

Kick them off the pitch aswell and tevez can kick fergie in his purple nose!!

mine hit me this morning. its usually a mixture between anxiety, exited, nerves, tiredness, impatience, stress, extacy and pride.

does anyone else get this? and how are you feeling (nervous, exited etc...)?

Sounds like you're having an orgasm

I am not going today but as the kick-off draws nearer, I will get more and more nervous. You all know that United are the jammiest team in the world and, by fair means or foul, are always capable of ruining our day. They have been crap all season but are still up there with us!
The way I feel at the moment, I won’t relax until we are a couple of goals in front and the referee and Old Bacon Face are studying their Breitlings.
However, I am sure that this will change once the game has started and we are running rings round the Traffordian Toe-rags.

starting to get all jumpy, itchy and unfocused... cant think of much else right now... i have all the scenarios running in my mind... we twat them they twat us, a dull draw, a match full os energy and speed rooney diving to get a penalty but gets sent off... vidic crushing bellamy's knees... all kind of weird stuff...
