I think this will be a tough fought 1-0 victory and we'll get a bit of reality back after a blistering start. Watford have absolutely no pressure and have proved they are solid at the back. I suspect we'll have enough to push them deep for large periods but unless we grab one earlier on it could get frustrating.

This is the sort of game we dropped points in last season.

In a way I would much rather play this game on a Sunday or Monday when there is a bit of pressure on us after knowing what most of our rivals have done.

This game will give us the best indication yet whether we have learnt from our complacency issues last season or not.

There's no doubt there will be a reality check here and it will be for Watford. Oh they'll be up for it alright but the problem is so will we.
What happens to teams that come up against us when we are up for it?
Are Watford more solid at the back then Chelsea or Everton? I doubt it.

A little "welcome to the premier league" is in order me thinks.

If Aguero and City in general, are as quick to start as they've been in all the other games, then this might be the game Aguero puts his first chances away and the floodgates open. I've got City down for a convincing win, parking the bus won't work with Silva, Aguero and Yaya in this form.

I'm going to sound very much the same every upcoming home fixture. Make our stadium a fortress and get 3 points.
Whatever goes with it in terms of goals scored, blank sheets, no injuries, etc. is a bonus.

To me it's the biggest indication of where this season is heading

Be great to head into international break, with 4 wins and a little lead at the top with our rivals digesting poor starts and transfer window failure

Absolutely, the buzz around the academy and players over the next two weeks if we win today will be fantastic. Today really is an indicator for me as to the team and the new atmosphere this season. We create a fantastic atmosphere like Chelsea and hopefully the players deliver on the pitch.
