Pre match pint for Wolves

We are getting the 10:27 from Piccadilly,gets into wolves at 11:41 I think,then go and watch the rag game in the walkabout...never been to this pub and will have my 13 year old lad with me...is it ok?

Should be fine mate, as someone has said, there were some kids in there before the league cup tie

Got thrown out of the Goal Post a few years ago for singing so I don't recommend it if you want to create an atmosphere. The wife wasn't impressed when she found out cause I had the kids as well. Oops!

Anyone know if the Wolverhampton Walkabout lets under 16s in. I know some do if you are having a meal.

Is the walkabout easy to find from train stn as on google maps it looks a bit more than 300 yrds from train stn.

Out the station, straight on, across the road into the city centre and left at the first big junction I think. About 2 or 3 minutes

Its on Queen Street if you need to ask. Out of station, walk straight up, bear left and first right. Probably less than 300 yards tbh. If anyone wants a cheaper pint and is not bothered about watching them rag twats there is a Wave bar even closer. At end of concourse from station there is Brittania hotel over the road. Under that is Wave bar. Only £1.50 a pint. Think they'll serve in glass too rather than the plastic you'll probably get in walkabout as they have plenty of regulars in there. All other places such as wetherspoons etc have security on so they won't let you in wave bar use the residential policy from Brittania. Think Wave is open from 11.30 too so you can get a quick pint rather than waiting outside walkabout (12:00pm) if you're in early. For those with kids, pretty sure its fine as they serve food and let them in at other times. See you there Blues.....
