I really hope not. Although, football does seem to be ‘americanising’ itself with the Super League etc and the American owners will push for games abroad as they did for the Super League. They are ruining the game.

Great, crank up the air miles in pre-season to give us plenty of pitch time to completely dismantle the "False 9" formation we've played for two seasons to potentially integrate a new target man or two, while the new EPL season starts even earlier due the Winter World Cup.

Is anyone thinking of going to this from Manc and if so any tips on airlines and routes to use?

Was thinking of doing NYCFC on the Sunday on my way back, obviously depends on costs but no harm in dreaming.
