Could do better (but its only preseason so no big deal):

Looks sharp , great workrate, did have a decent chance late on in the half just couldn't get his feet right , but great first touchWell that was quite fiesty. Are, that run and pass wow. So glad we're keeping him.
How's alverez been? I've not really noticed him.

Hugely enjoyable game. Some great football those last 15 mins from City. Anyone who watched River Plate for 90 mins won’t be surprised at Alvarez’s passing and little touches. New keeper looks comfy on ball, though positioning not great for goal. And that decision for the Grealish pen would almost make you appreciate var!

Alvarez is already looking like a gem had some great touches and neat passes, that goal was never Ortega's fault just a bit of rust in our defence, Kev looking like he's already possessed for the season ahead, loving the fact they're getting wound up by Grealish who has caused their defenders problems, lets hope Haaland gets unleashed and that the kids impress too looking forward to the 2nd half hope it's as good as the first. c'mon! City!
