Pre season in Melbourne

Our kid went to the Roma game (he lives in Oz) and posted pics on Facebook this morning. One of him with Tiatto, the other with him and Mike Summerbee.
Bastard!

There have been no tickets on sale to the public this week between the Tue Roma game and tomorrow's Real Madrid match EalingBlue2. This was my point. Most City fans have made the trek down to Oz or across Oz for the Tue-Fri time period.

Not sure of Pubs pre game but The Imperial on the Cnr of Spring and Bourke is the pub where the Melbourne Supporters Club go and is used by Melbounce City FC, so that's probably your best bet. We are going there today between 11-1pm as there might be a player or two visiting the fans.

43k for the Roma game. Not bad turn out considering it was a School/work night. They are expecting 90k plus tomorrow.

On my way to the airport in half an hour, can't wait 1st time seeing the blues in the flesh for over 7yrs. only bad thing about the trip is having to watch Ronaldo, makes me cringe just thinking about it!

Imagine being Ronaldo. The orange fairy just spends all match watching himself on the TV replay screens around the ground, now that is cringe

The pre game party ie large piss up for grizzled old Mancs starts at 3 at the imperial. Tuesday it was Chocca with blues even this early inside and out. It's definitely the place to go for solid city fans, plenty of blues in smaller groups out in other pubs though. Am heading into town for 12 but may have a couple elsewhere before going to the imperial by 2

City making their presence felt, buzzer doing a stunning job in his ambassador role going from drinking event to drinking event. Sterling and him came down to meet the supporters club. Yaya was in town signing shirts at a sports store and there must have still been 500+ in the queue when they had to go. Supporters club members were allowed in free to watch them train last night which was very good.

Anyway on to tonight and the G - fair chance it could be 100000 apparently if so the biggest crowd ever to an Australian football game and the biggest crowd at the G since Billy Graham not sure if rumours are true as this requires standing tickets and I haven't seen any for sale.

Biggest thing for me is how good our kids look, Garcia one of the most impressive on tour, horsefield really surprised me with his quality in training and ichanebo and denayer very clearly ready!!!!
