Pre Season

Are city going on a pre season tour to south africa or something aswell.

Yeah, we play the Kaiser Chiefs (no 'jokes' about predicting a riot please) and the Orlando Pirates in South Africa, then we play the winner of the match between those aforementioned sides in a 'Final' of some trophy or other.

I've said for the past few weeks since our 'talks' with Barcelona that we will have them a friendly. AC Milan last year, Valencia the year before. Barca would be a great tie and I reckon it would draw in a reasonably good crowd, especially if they beat the Rags. Just imagine watching the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o, Puyol, Alves etc. at CoMS, would be mint. I would certainly go and take some mates with me.

And thats just the city starting XI :D

There's a couple of pubs right near the ground, not been in either of them but one is for home fans only. There's a fancy looking Indian restaurant near the ground. Nearby are a couple of strip clubs and sex shops.

Heading towards Sheffield city centre there is a stretch of takeaways and restaurants that looks like a poor version of the curry mile but there are more kebab type places than Indians.

I've been a few times watching Swinton in the rugby and a couple of times this season for the football but have always just gone straight there and back.

Correct, the away end view is truly appalling. But as I work next to the stadium this will be very convenient!

As a side note, Britain’s only swinging club is also in the area La Chambre... Register now if you like fat birds sitting on your face.

Already done Barca, we won it 2-1, we've also played Lazio, Olypiacos, Porto, Valencia and AC Milan

Be good to play Bayern Munich. Seeing as we've played top teams from Spain and Italy already.

I still remember playing Rotherham when we were pushing for promotion under Keegan and we rocked up to their horrible ground with Ali B, Berkovic etc and they hadn't cut the grass for weeks or something stupid. We still got a draw though
