The guy I asked actually looked similar to TGB and his Mrs also had blond hair, so I added 2+2 and got 5 : /... I was less than an hour away from watching the QPR game in there, when my ticket finally turned up. Fucking buzzing, I was - but I reckon it would have been a good boozer to watch it in. My mate watched it there and had a ball. So I'm fond of the place, had many a good pint in there, but the service is usually wank.Has it fuck

If i was guessing, I'd say it was formerly a Chester' s (or Whitbread at that time) pub. They had many of the great pubs in Manchester at the time.
