Prediction For Anfield ?

If Torres is playing and is fit I fear for the worst. Sorry to be negative but if our shambolic defence can't cope with Nugent what chance have they got with Torres...?

4-2 Liverpool as Hughes will probably play 4-4-2 again which means in all likelihood we'll get overrun in midfield and out played.

Also it would see us drop to 7th, as long as Sunderland dont go on a scoring spree. 8th if they do, but looks unlikely.

Then the question is, at this point in the season, should City be sat in 7th/8th place with the squad we have.

The answer will be a resounding NO!

they know what a huge game it is for them, not sure some of our rich boys understand that yet.

I think the result will be a draw, but strangely enough, I am a bit more hopeful than if we were playing someone like Stoke or Bolton away.
This season, we seem to lift our game against the better sides - Arsenal, Scum first half, Villa away.

We seem to have no idea how to break down the "lower" teams that put 10 men behind the ball.

Think about it - it would be "typincal city" to beat Liverpool away whilst only managing a draw to the mighty Burnley, Birmingham and Fulham.

There are no easy games in the premiership!

The same out of form players play. We stick with 4 - 4 - 2. Hughes is tactically baffled. We play Petrov at left back and Bridge as the target man upfront instead of Ade. Need I say more.
