This time last year, most Bluemooners were predicting a 5-7th finish, myself included. In addition we reached the semi-final of the Carling Cup. So what about this coming season? Yes, I know transfer activity is still on-going but you must have some idea of how we will perform. With Essien back for Chelski, I fancy them to retain the championship. We will be battling it out with the Rags, Gooners and Spuds for the Champions League places. I will be content with 3rd place and automatic qualification, preferably above the Rags. At least one cup final appearance would be nice too. How about you guys? Please be realistic as it may take several months for our new squad to gel.

1) Chelsea
2) United
3) Man City
4) Arsenal
5) Everton
6) Tottenham
7) Birmingham
8) Pool

City to win The Carling Cup, maybe also The Europa Cup.

I will be disappointed if we don't at least achieve a second place finish in the league and I also expect us to win one of the three cup competitions.

We have no excuses.
The rags are weaker that they have been for twenty years.
Arsenal are still young and don't have any depth in the squad.
