Predictions for Saturday

I think Burnley will play the game of their lives but we still should have too much for them I'm going for a nervy 2-1 win for us.

I think Sunderland will get a Draw with Spuds and Bent will be up for that one.

Burnley forum, can't see much of importance on there. in fact very difficult to decipher...lol. Saying that it is Burnley
 
I worry about their mud patch of a pitch - worse than Hull!
A crap pitch like that can be a leveller and anything can happen - unlucky bounces etc.
I can see them hoofing the high ball and playing head tennis.

Rocky to start over Ade might be a call.

I would like to see an attacking format and approach like we had against Fulham - smash 2 or 3 past them before half-time.

What I think I WILL see is them putting lots of men behind the ball and hoping to get something from a counter attack or set piece.

Their goalie Jensen seems tohave alll the grace, agility and movement of an African Elerphant.

OK Indian Elephant - his ears aren't that big.
 
If we play the way we did against Fulham away or Sunderland away in the second half then we'll win. However, I can see it being nerve wracking. I'm going for 2-1 to City. We'll be winning 2-0, concede a cheap goal and hang on for dear life for the last 20/30 mins. Whatever happens, 3 points is a must.
 
sunderland 1 - 2 spurs

very hard to call. spurs win seems the most likely result, but the odds really aren't that much shorter than the draw or even a loss. sunderland have improved and will have jones back, but I worry that, having taken the pressure off with some good results, they will slip back into complacency. as for spurs, their 'form' appears very good but it's also possible they've been overachieving slightly. gone for a spurs win but anything is possible.

birmingham 0 - 1 liverpool

brum have barely slowed up, great tenacity and spirit on display last week again. but liverpool are a team coursing with adrenaline again. torres and gerrard are classic flat track bullies who will relish this game. biggest hope of a draw/loss is rafa messing up the team selection with one eye on the europa ties.

burnley 0 - 2 city

laws is losing the crowd. three defeats to poor teams on the trot. city know what needs to be done, hold tight and prove that clark carlisle and co are not qualified to defend against adebayor, tevez, bellamy and johnson.
 
I can see this being one of those games where we think just turning up and we will win, going to be a hard game

I really want to say we'll win but Citytitis is kicking in, we always seem to be the team that everyone's luck changes against.

I predict I will be nervous as fuck as usual watching us hopefully hanging on for a 1.0 win
 
If we win and Spuds, Pool and the rags all lose it'll be pointless any of you going to the pub afterwards. There'll be no more beer. And an irate barman will be pointing accusing fingers at me, a swollen mass of atoms slumped over in the corner, wallowing like a seal in an ocean of John Smith's bitter and stale semen. And you'll all turn your angry glare down at the prostate figure of KentBlue and shout: "You fucking greedy bastard"! But I'll be too far gone to even be aware of what planet I'm on.
