I liked his interview tbh. Got that Manc swagger and self-belief. He’s going to be a star.

Think he was a red as a kid, not that it really matters, but definitely a Blue now. A couple of relatives of his sit near us in the Family Stand and they are most certainly Blues.

It just seems that all the comments that he was a rag are based on what folk think rather than know

Just remember hearing it a couple of years ago, and that picture of him in a United shirt probably confirms it. It really doesn’t matter though. Seeing the way he’s celebrated goals for the EDS against United shows where his loyalties lie.

but where did you see this? When you say he’s quite open about being a rag - I’ve never seen it so where have you seen it?

Not seen heard, through local people who claim they know him/ his family. I know them well enough to think they wouldn’t make it up but who knows. I’ve not said it’s 100%, just mentioned it and thrown it out there what we think

Thanks for that great goal but no. It was a more of a lob from the same type of angle on the right/could have been against Liverpool but thought it was the rags. Anyhow great talent to look forward to

There are some strange comments on this thread. To me the OP was just having a laugh like you do down the pub. Only one poster has attacked him. No one else has said anything derogatory about Palmer or his accent. It's light hearted with nothing badly meant. Or meant badly !!!!

The best thing is, he’s actually having a laugh about it himself..
