Premier League Games 1/2/3/4 Jan 2021

What a load of shite.

Pep takes every game equally seriously, a derby is no more or less important to him, just us the fans.

You seem to forget that we absolutely battered them there in the semi final last year, 3-1 was a travesty, and even though they won the 2nd leg, we'd pretty much battered them again, and they weren't even close to over turning the tie.

This time it's a one off, just need to do what we did last year there.

You just made my point, he treats the derby like it's just another game.

We lost most of the derbys last season.

Hard to know what we can do about it though!
I genuinely believe that the rags are up there purely because the power that be want them there – lots of dodgy decisions, lack of cards being shown, the incredibly soft penalties... but this is deep... it's all about money – and unless we can prove anything 100%, backed up with evidence... which let's face it, will never happen.
The problem is, who kills the Golden Goose?

If you throw back the curtains on that level of corruption the game is essentially up. The ensuing court cases alone (loss of earnings/revenue, unfair betting odds, etc.) will bankrupt a whole number of clubs, organisations and football related businesses. Given it's a £multi-billion industry worldwide you can understand why people are more than a bit reluctant to come forward. It is literally too big to fail and there are some VERY powerful people interested in making sure it NEVER happens.

I have been playing football (at an Admittedly low level) for 35 years (yes, I should stop) but not once have I kicked my own calf when running... or seen it whilst playing for that matter. Why? Because it doesn’t happen naturally.. even with a tangle of legs, you will never see that on a Sunday league game for that reason.. it’s staged theatrics. What is different between the way a park player runs compared to an elite player? Absolutely nothing aside from there is more at stake so they cheat.

Gary Neville will call it being cute. I will call it blatant cheating. You decide who is right.

except when David Dunn tried a rabona!

If we have VAR to help, LET'S start using it CORRECTLY, these mistakes can define the future of clubs"

It isn't just the dodgy penalties they get as plenty, myself included, mentioned on here it's the way they are officiated. Shaw and McTominay or whatever he is called should have had two yellows in that game but the clever/shithouse Oliver managed it perfectly. Shaw only got his yellow late in the game and I'm not even sure the mardarse faced latter got one at all. Matic just fouled from the minute he came on and should have had two yellows. In our games often our first couple of fouls mean two yellows early doors so reducing our effectiveness to compete for fear of a second yellow. The game is bent and because sky and the rest are complicit these points are brushed under the carpet.

Watching that angle it looks a free kick to villa.

Good lad, he will fit right in when he’s back in the summer (:

Matic will play against us and will commit no end of yellow card offences without getting one.

Do we know who is awarding the penalty to the rags yet

Cue a 20 grand fine for bringing the game into disrepute for telling the truth
