Premier League Games 1/2/3/4 Jan

I have to say that was poor from Allardyce.
Making 7 changes and waving the white flag before kick off and blatantly not trying to win the game. Rooney also played as if he was still a Rag.
If that was us he was playing he would have put his cloggers against us and tried like hell to win and target our players.
It's truly staggering the way Everton year in year out roll over and die when playing the Rags yet play as if it's their annual cup final when playing us.
Utterly disgraceful from Allardyce Rooney and Everton tonight.

I've noticed this about Everton, they try so hard against us every time then bend over for the rags and Chelsea and even Liverpool. Frustrating shithouse of a club.

I don't know if it's been said earlier but some of thevtwo-footed tackles from them, McCarthy and Holgate in particular, were disgraceful.
What is it about Merseyside? The only place left where the crowd get to referee the game.

Fuck all like what our players are getting tackled like proper leg breakers not tripping someone up from behind..

It's like the FA have scripted these none threatening tackles in this game to divert the attention gaining on the internet world over the shit being dished out to our players..

Spot the difference....

Hope you're right Sean. Have to get the job done tomorrow, no slow half arsed play or fuck ups. Need an early goal ideally, settle the nerves.

I think we’ll be fine. Watford are a mess defensively and they’ve got some key injuries at the minute. I’m hoping we see Sane, Sterling and Agüero upfront. With David and a John Stones back we should hopefully move the ball a lot quicker.

Wasnt it fat sam who was to have said that playing against united was a definite loss and would effectively write the game off ???

Or was it someone else...either way he gives the impression that he holds them aloft so much that it isnt worth trying to even get a draw - had everton played us tonight it would have been them defending deep etc, why not do the same against the shit if he thinks they cannot get the win ?

Everton are just a practice game/play thing for that lot...and that is what we should chant at the fuckers when we play them next

Relax. It's not always about City. Everton's ethos in the second half today was nasty and ought to be denounced by every media outlet. If past experience is anything to go by, it won't be though because it will be portrayed as "plucky Everton getting stuck in etc etc." which only serves to perpetuate the practice- and does our team no favours. I seriously doubt that the FA orchestrated today's tackles either. More likely, the attention (rightly) given to the assaults on our players has brought the issue to the forefront of a lot of people's thinking - including me, evidently. Hopefully, sections of the media will follow suit.

PS: having watched it again, Holgate's challenge that you quoted wasn't so bad. Another, two-footer from McCarthy on Pogba (I know, I know) was worth a straight red on its own - and even after that he did enough to earn more yellows than the actual one he got.
