Premier League Games 1/2/3 April '23

Shay Given absolutely brilliant on sly tv - after listening to Rednapp & ratboy spouting about the rags for ages, when asked about his views by Rednapp , he said " I thought i was listening to Manchester United TV there " , top man !!

Fuck me this is a bit over the top by Newcastle to say the least

Our players, manager and staff go around the pitch and it doesn't matter if we win, draw or lose. We've done it since the first game after we appointed Howe. He does it to thank the crowd and he doesn't change anything, no matter the result as he doesn't want the players to get too low if the result doesn't go our way and he doesn't want them getting carried away after a win.

Yeah, but the rags will then have two games in hand. We need the gap to be as big as it can be.
Knowing how you dislike spurs, scum and leeds..... a draw would put spurs into 4th,rags to 5th and leeds in relegation spot. :D

really....I m with you on a spurs win , they ll be two games ahead of the scum after that game. need Brighton to get a run together too.

Take the point about the Newcastle post match celebrations but I suppose why not. You’ve got enjoy your wins and they’ve been starved of success. Plus as we City fans know the “cartel” hate other teams doing well.
The walk around the pitch happens regardless of the result.

We need Newcastle right in there for Top 4. Arsenal go to St. James at the start of May.

Aresenal came to Newcastle for the last game of last season when they started the day in 4th place and needed to get a result to ensure Spurs didn't go above them and qualify for the Champions League instead of them. We beat Arsenal 2-0 and could and probably should have scored 5 or 6.

Arsenal coming to Newcastle will not be easy, no matter what we're fighing for.
